Zach Satterly threw a complete-game gem, Koen Leaders drove in four runs and Trace Severson made several nice defensive plays in left field as the Knights won the fourth-place game at the ASAA/First National Bank State Baseball Tournament at Mulcahy Stadium.
Satterly allowed six hits and one walk, working around the zone all day. He threw first-pitch strikes to 19 of 29 batters. He struck out three.
Leaders drew a walk with the bases loaded for his first RBI in the second inning. He had a two-run single in the third inning. He added a run-scoring fielder’s choice in the fifth inning.
Carson McLaughlin went 2-for-3 with a triple and three runs. Alex Manning reached base three times, scored twice and collected two RBIs.
This was Colony's first win over Juneau in four meetings all-time at the state tournament. Juneau won in 2017, 2013 and 2008.
Juneau’s Brock McCormick and Olin Rawson each went 2-for-3. Rawson knocked in his team's lone run.
