Haning goes from long reliever to starter for CCU

A long reliever for most of the season, Anchor Point's Zach Haning is now starting for Colorado Christian University.
He started each of his last two starts and compiled a total of 12 strikeouts in 8.2 innings, including a season-high 7 Ks against Metro State.
The senior pitcher has appeared in 14 games, 12 of them coming out of the bullpen.
He’s earned three saves with the NCAA D2 Cougars.
Haning has racked up 33 strikeouts in 24.2 innings on the season.
He has surrendered just seven earned runs over his last 19.1 innings, giving him a 3.26 ERA since March 1.
