Ivy League pitchers aren’t having much luck fooling Willy Homza of Anchorage.
The Brown University senior has struck out only 10 times in 83 plate appearances.
Few players are as dialed in as he is right now.
Homza is hitting .385 on a 10-for-26 clip in the last eight games with three home runs, nine RBIs and 10 walks.
The former South Legion Post 4 shortstop leads the Ivy League with 21 walks in 19 games and ranks sixth with a career-high .463 on-base percentage.
He has reached base in 17 of 19 games and boasts a career-high .279 batting average.
