There’s a reason Matt Palmer bats cleanup for Waldorf University.

The senior slugger from Palmer is one of the most productive hitters in the North Star Athletic Association.

The left fielder leads the league with 30 RBIs in 28 games and ranks third in home runs (4), fourth in doubles (8) and tied for fifth in total bases (48).

Palmer is crushing it.

The former Wasilla Legion Post 35 infielder is riding an eight-game hit streak and batting.274 on the NAIA season.

In the last six games, he’s banged out five extra-base hits with two doubles, a triple and two bombs.
