Treasure Valley’s Berg won’t get cheated at the dish

Wyatt Berg of Fairbanks hit his second home run of the season and drove in a career-high four RBIs for Treasure Valley Community College in a 9-8 loss to Walla Walla.

The sophomore catcher finished 2-for-4 in the game, which was the nightcap in a NWAC doubleheader in Ontario, Oregon.

The former Alaska Legion all-star has seven RBIs in 11 games.

Berg does not get cheated at the plate, with two of his four hits being smacked out of the park.

But he doesn’t just swing at anything, as evidence of a game March 24 when he walked three times in four at-bats.
