Former South Legion Post 4 outfielder Max Costello of Anchorage made the most out of his time as a mid-game substitution for the University of Dallas in an 8-5 win over Wilmington in Texas.

Costello entered the game in the fourth inning as a pinch runner and promptly stole second base.

Then in the sixth and eighth innings he singled to finish 2-for-2 at the plate.

Costello is now 2-for-5 in three games this season.

Last year, he started five of 16 games and batted .308 (8-for-26) with a double and five RBI.

He now has four career stolen bases.
